King of Naples, later King of Spain
Pronunciation:
Elder brother of Napoleon Bonaparte, he was born Giuseppe Buonaparte on January 7, 1768 in Corte, Corsica.
He became King of Naples and Sicily from 1806 to 1808, then King of Spain as José I from 1808 to 1813.
He died on July 28, 1844 in Florence , Tuscany, Italy.
